Lee Cable
yeah i've got panda, it's bitchin'As for your virus's i would also recommend googling them to see if there is a patch.I also have 3 anti virus programs which do the job usually, ad-aware, spybot and microsoft antispyware.Having more than one spyware program, is actually bad. They all run against each other, I read that in PC Format one time(Y)Thanks!
Ramraider
AVG isn't bad, Avast is all quite good for 64 bit.Alternatively just delete the poop made by Microsoft from your computer and install Fedora Core, it pwns Nearly all virues are designed for MS Windows as most people use that so by installing Linux 99% of all viruses out there will not harm your system Oh yea, the best thing is Fedora and all its applications such as Open Office are 100% FREE Download from here:Fedora CoreCheers,Mike. Joe_Kearney
go on download.com and search for virus removal programes. u can get them off there to and its freeWhen dealing with viruses, yo don't really want to be taking short cuts downloading sh*t programs(one or two are decent if you look hard enough), even though Norton and Mcafee cost a fair do, they are worth getting, because they are the best, and because you pay for them you can get almost daily updates, with Norton and Mcafee working around the clock against dangerous and new viruses.. I install updates from Mcafee nearly every day. And if you are doing stuff such as online banking or internet shopping you need anti-virus software like this, its just not worth risking it. If you can afford norton or Mcafee, then get them, they will remove any viruses if they are fully updated, failing that, report to microsoft(the send error thing that pops up when your pc crashes). Hope I helped Edited March 11, 2006 by Joe_Kearney
wilky_mod_legend2
53 erm, some could be viruses i guess....system restore seems the best plan by far...Just tried system restore and nothing seems to have happened, it says move the cursor left or right to modify number of disk space for restore points, i moved it from 12% down to 10% clicked apply and nothing happened I think im doing something drastically wrong, i went into my control panel, system, system restore, Not how the other guy said?53, you should average around 40, but there properly not virus, more likely to be ad-ware or spyware.CheersWilky
