ben_travis
Zoo cranks rule, they are the best cranks I have used EVER. they are the bee's knees. and ive had tensiles, middleburns, truvativs, all sorts. STIFF STRONG and laugh off the damage......although....only 170mm length, and black and silver.taben
Prawny Baby
well thanks for all the responses lads!but ive come to my senses.....people are saying bad things about both cranks....tensiles just look ugly and plain to me, theres no style to them! echo CNC are pretty funky, but perhaps slightly overbuilt, and again, not the prettiest!middleburn on the other hand..... have just offered me a brand new set of RS7 arms for £62.50, as crash replacement items for my current battered ones!so ill send my bash to edd to get it tidied up, and get some new rs7 arms, and have the nicest cranks out there still :)all for a lot less money!glad i came to my senses! nothing beats RS7's! Bendee
I still cant belive people are still buying them tensiles, i think there just terrible everyone breaks them why would you do that to yourself. there proven to be weak so i couldnt give a f**k if they offerd to suck my balls and replace them for free i still would never buy any.Come on people pull your heads out of onzas/tensiles arse and have some sence. to be honest i cant wait for the day i replace the ones that came on my mod infact if anyone has anything theyd like to swap pm me. Another thing if you cant screw a f**king pedal in a crank properly or you cant keep them tight you dont deserve to have a bike, its only very very simple bike maintenance. (haha sorry pat)about the echos the people on otn were talking about the black ones and not the newer cnc ones. personally it would be echo everytime for me, but that would only be if i ever became a reetard and somehow forgot about the middleburns and went crazy and ran a freewheel lol.lets face it though there is no cranks about like the middleburns there just incredible, sexy, light and very very very strong and they have a awsome warrenty so if you was to ever snap a pair you get them free or seriosuly cheap there is no argumenting about this middleburn beat everything. Bendee
get the ti bash geez ive had mine for a couple of years now, its solid and still looks brand new on the chainring, and if people say there to expensive in my opinion they should charge more for it as there just so god damn good.ive never snapped a chain with it and thats what everyone was scared about at first, i run it with a 14th rear chainring and it feels awsome perfect gear ratio i reckon. Joe_Elding
Just to calrify, will a normal bash fit on the older style tensiles? I'm about to order some now.
poopipe
please dont laugh at me but ...can you run a front freewheel ( specifically an eno ) on middleburns ? Maybe if i were to dispense with the bashring? They look much nicer than the echo and tensile jobs and cost about the same and that makes me want to run some on my mod (especially since that bit of my bike's started to go all wobbly). Tony Harrison
Glad you're sticking to RS7s. In my opinion these big boxy cranks like Tensiles look crap.
mat hudson
no you cant. the bash fits on a spline, so you cant.
