As cool as it may be, I honestly cant see any council actually forking out for one of these, because

1. Biketrials is small in comparison to bmx / skateboarding.

2. Public perception (from the annoying bastards who like to complain) is - go to a skatepark.

3. They cost alot

4. even in large areas local riding numbers are v small (eg bristol - i can think of 10 max who actually live close . .. )

5. building that kind of park would lend itself to bringing people to the area who inevitably would get boored and venture onto the err street furniture.

infact there are loads of negatives for a council and not many plusses = boned.

the only way i can ever see a trials park coming into existance is on the back of an outdoor skatepark - a small area in the park dedicated to trials - a pile of rocks or some strategic walls / block .. . . pretty dull.

just a thought but meh like i say - it would be really nice if it did ever happen

You say its the first trials park in the uk.

Do you mean indoor. It would be important to tell them there are other trials areas in the uk. So then they know it is possible and others councils have be prepeared to go through with the idea.

I know there are 2 areas in north yorkshire. Silsdon and Shipey.

good luck but in all honesty i dont think it will happen
