Cool man, I was going to get a rallye but ive just got a VTR. I am going to rape it on commuting so i thought i would destroy a rallye putting loads of miles on it. I want one though, one day...

Ha ha....... this is hilarious. talking about 1.2 clios having 'performance' and like '110bhp' oh my, thats huge isn't it. Dont get me wrong, i drove a 98' fiesta 1.1 as my first car BUT it was slow, ugly, badly built and a total piece of crap! it wasn't good at all!!

i did have a race with a milkfloat once, beat him off the line but then his electric turbo kicked in....... >_<

...except for the astra van (bucky gave it a good bashin at koxx days!), the 1.6golf and the poorly RS turbo everything else on here is turbowank, i mean, you cannot seriously think a car thats banana yellow and sounds like a cup of coffee and perform's like one too is cool? unless your a bit bent.

EDIT - pug rallye and gti and good too, forgot them :)

I drive a 92' Honda Civic Hatchback.

I have done a motor swap, fully built tranny with 14.9 final drive and a kaaz lsd. Hasport motor mounts, DC headers, Tunabe exhaust, Skunk 2 intake manifold, AEM intake, Tein coilovers, Skunk 2 stage 2 cams, chipped ecu, Jdm type R steering wheel, Rota circcut 8 wheels with Falken Azena tires, Integra brake upgrade.

It has 180 bhp and runs 1/4 mile in 13.5 sec.

The red line is at 9500 rpm's, it's basically a street legal race car.

The fastest I have run it is 155 mph.

I love hatches especially japanese cars. More mods to come in the near future.

Matt.

it just got better (Y), then got ill again :rolleyes:.

i managed to fix the thigns wrong with it woohoo

and then it decided to start spitting water out the top radiator hose the little bugger, and also as i was limping home off boost chilling behind another car i heard a ping and saw something bounce around in the rear view mirror and it was a bolt from turbo elbow to down pipe picked it up and limped home even slower

so now its a time to fix these things and just for a laugh before all of this happened it decided to pick a misfire on spool up so its hesitating as it comes on boost :( fooking thing costs be too much money in on going repairs to old thing grrrr

Here's a shot of our cars. The Laguna is a 2.0L RT that has just returned today from its MOT. This cost just over 1/2 the price of the car to keep it motoring for another year!

[attachmentid=5805]

The red car is a Hyundai Matrix which with its high up riding position makes it easy to load Callum into the child seat, plus is great for long journies because it's so easy to drive and has plenty of coffee holders and fold out tables in the rear!

Moving from a Fiesta to the Laguna saloon really feels like a step up in the world, despite the Laguna costing less than a Koxx stock frame!

You got a pic of it? love to see a pic of the engine too if you've got one?

Cheers,

Ian

Yeah I will try and get one up shortly.

Also to the person that posted about the R1, no I am not lying.

It's not hard to get a naturally asprated car into the 12's, although it's much harder to get it into the 11's.

The R1 will go much faster than most cars, you should never judge a bike especially a stock street bike in a 1/4 mile. They're designed more for top speed then short distances.

I've switched from Opel Corsa A (which was very nice, but a bit too little for my bike) into Volkswagen Passat 1.9 TD Biker edition :] , which is perfect for going for longer tours with my mates. We put bikes onto top of car and all the bags into carrier. And there's still enough place for a beer box :P Here some pics:
