BONGO
look in max power type magazines, or easier and quicker probably, yellow pagers for custom spray painters / car sprayers etc etc.there are loads around but only if you look!john
Tom Booth
Paint your after is called 'pearlescent'......Its very expensive stuff, The 'flip' paint effect is actually a clear layer that you sppray over a base coat, and then the laquer is effected by the light to give the flip effect.Search for 'rage paint effects' , there website probably has some links to sites.Tom

Chris@Onza rider
Its flip if your idea of a modded car is a sub and some paper body kit ha ha and whats wrong with that lol i think im going to give it a miss with the pearlecent, i thought it would be about 70 80 quid a litre not £225.00 haha. Mark W
I thought pearlescent paint was just when you got a 'deep' finish to it? Whereas flip was actually where it changed hue when you looked at it from different angles?
george_seamons
The effect you get on a car won't be the same as the one you get on a bike frame. The whole point of the paint is that when light hits certain crystals in the paint, a certain colour is reflected. On a relitavly small surface area, such as bike frame tubes, this effect won't be as impressive as it would be on a larger surface ares, such as a car body panel. It will still work, it just won't look as good, and might not be worth the crazy price!
