From my recollection i think that the longer crank arms are made for the taller person, yet i may be wrong, i think it depends on if youare small youwould go for 160 but to be honest 5 mm aint much diference, maybe someone on hear can answerit better than me but i think 160 or 165will be good for a mod i run 170 on stock.

I run 170echo on my zoo.Personally I like them alot better than my 158 monty cranks what I used to run.So i would get the 165mm ones .Longer cranks make it easier to get on the back wheel and better balance.

hi there ive just got an xtp 20" just wonderin wat lenth cranks every 1 uses im not sure if i should get 160mm or 165mm with 12t on the rear (Y)

If you have just bought an XTP why do you want some new cranks already? But id say go for the 165mm.

Hey,

i personaly run long echo 05 cranks and i find them a lot better than my short dabomb cranks. (Y)

It is up to you in the end but i wasn't sure what ones to get so i just went for the longs ones and i am glad i did.

Go for some long cranks mate.

my theory is that long cranks give you more leverage so they're better for longer bikes.

I'm finding 160s a bit short on my t-poo, If you've got the long xtp you'll probably want the longer cranks - if you've got the stumpy one then 160s will probably be fine.

I'd just run whatever you've got at the moment and decide based on what they feel like - no point spending money till you need to is there..
