NeillyB
Here's the skinny folks...Ordered a new wheel from TartyBikes, Echo 2006 on Hope Pro Trials 2. However, I'm not sure if the hub is a 12mm bolt-through or QR. Obviously, since I've got a T-Rex with 10mm QR dropouts, the 12mm won't fit.I've emailed them about this but I've not received an answer yet, probably due to it being the weekend and all. They told me I should expect it on Monday so I'm just afraid they'll have either built me a wheel I can't use or I've caused them grief due to me not reading the site properly... Anyone got any ideas?Cheers neighboursxxxEdit: Just found out it's convertable:The rear now has 5 cartridge bearings (3 in the freehub), 24 teeth (vs old 21), and it has a circular spring to hold the pawls in place. It is convertable between qr, 12mm, and 10mm saint compatable. So, where do I get the kits if I need one? Argh, I'm a sack Edited March 4, 2006 by NeillyB

Waynio
the new bolt in design is pretty good too. im just waiting for my Ti bolts off ash that he was making me............ hehenice big strong threads and a dcent 6mm allen key headed bolt to tighten it up. you dont have the wheel dropping out if the quick release isnt done tight enough OR if you land on your singlespeed convertor (if the chains tight it sometimes pulls the wheel out) its been well thought out and very trials specific, they will probably be pretty good for single speed bikes (normal mtb style singlespeed bikes etc)Waynio...................... r1 oww
regarding single speed/trials hubs, just to clear up some confusion, the pro IIT AND SINGLE SPEED hub is the same hub both suplied as standard with the m10 bolts, and set of spacers for sprockets,it is convertable to qr by simply changing the end spacers.the freehub body is stainless, the hub is officialy called PRO II SS/T,both are offset pawls, this info is for the benifit of others not you waynio as you know already.
