David
Just wondering if anyone has used the new hansventure tyres..Im wanting a tyre that lasts about as long as my current comp 24 has.Im looking at the 42/50 compound, wondering if the grip will be any good with the harder centre? Thanks,Dave
Dr Greenthumb
I've had a go on my friends pitbull with this tyre and it acheives insane grip.I think that the two different compounds works really well, and being maxxis they are guaranteed good tyres anyway.I would seriously recommend getting one. Concussion
Yeah, I bought one a few months back.(hard centre) I love it, great tread pattern and the grip seems as good as the `super tacky` tyre I had used previous. I'm not the type of rider using it to it's grip limits though, so? Just saying I like it and would defo buy another.Looks like it gonna last a lot longer also. And lighter! matthewholdsworth
sorry to jump in on the thread but been thinking of a new front tyre to replace a comp24 because on rocks it slips, folds, rolls and generally misbehaves when i dont want it to i.e. all the sodding timethinking along the lines of the hansventure are you guys using them rear or f/r?other than that i think i'd be going for 2.3 (ish) high roller
Concussion
Rear!
nmt_oli
Rear. It may be slightly narrow for some people- 2.4 instead of 2.5, but its very close in my frame, so wouldnt want any bigger.
