nb88
'ElloooooI've got a small question for my ICT coursework database. I'm not sure what syntax to use, i want to multiply 2 values in a report. Basically i've got a quantity of equipment, and the cost of the individual equipment. I want to multiply these numbers to get a total cost for each piece of equipment, and then have another calculation for working out the total cost for the entire order.I know how to do the total cost - just using =Sum([Cost]) but im not sure on the syntax for a multiplication? I want to X [Quantity] and [Equip cost]. Cant seem to find it in the book. Thanks for any help Noori
