Jowster
hey, ive just bid a brand new t-pro frame on ebay and was wondering if it came with a warranty as t-pros have a reputation to cross-thread.I am just wondering what you guys think
luccosleeps
all aluminium frames are prone to cross threading, plus it your buying it off ebay second hand you'll get no warranty. if you buy it brand new off ebay you'll only get a limited warranty such manufacture defects not abuse or trials riding im afraid. JT!
The onza warrenty is very good.1 year free replacement for manufactoring defect2 year half price (or similar, supercycles are good if you wanted a different frame) if it brake for any reason. However, i very much doubt you'll get a warrenty with a second hand frame, but supercycles are good with their warrentys. Either way get some sort of recipt if you do win it.
fruitbat
if you break it whilst doing trials then no, they see that as abuse to the bike and with abuse it will breakAs for cross threading it only does that if u aint careful. i worked in Aire Valley and done plenty of work on Onzas and never once had one cross thread anywhereWith you buying it on Ebay i doubt you will get much, if any warranty
poopipe
like JT said - half price replacement if you bust it riding trials within 2 years, 1 year manufacturers defectaccording to my paperwork the onza warranty is non-transferable so a frame you didn't buy as new from an onza dealer isn't covered.you'll only cross thread the BB if you f**k up putting it in. Which is your fault anyway so even if you had a warranty it wouldn't help
