That wheel is an R.A that fred pictured, so are the g40 wheels, so are mk2 gti wheels. They are all the R.A design just available in 13, 14, and 15 inch.

Mine didnt go on easily because they are from a Scirroco so the centre is a bit fatter - but it's worth it beause 14's are perfect for the golf.

Theres no reason ra's won't go on any 4x100 vw providing you have the right bolts, basically and polo up to mk3 and golf to mk2 is 4x100 so they'll go right on?

whoooooooooooooooooa!

i thought this thread was dead :P

forgive me for skulking round these parts mini people.... just looking for a little info!

does anyone know much about the VAG 1.8 turbo motors?

ive heard a lot about the 1.8 20 valve, is this the 125bhp one fitted to the A3 1.8 sport?

how many valves does the 1.8 turbo have?

any info would be great :)

1.8 turbos are 20v. Just turboed versions of the 120bhp one.

If you can, avoid the non turbo ones. They're weak! If you need any more information then just grab an issue of pvw or golf+ and I can guarantee a wealth of info on the 20vt engines...

Basically VAG made lots of different ones, the two codes I know are AGU (180bhp) and BAM (225bhp tt engine) They're both turboed, and then they made 2 N/A versions which were 150BHP and 120 i believe...

Edition 38 ;)

Nice nick, why not buy a derv? Audi do nice ones 1.9 2.0 2.5 or even a 3.0! Still good though. (Y)

because i really didnt want an oil burner freddy!

sure, theyre economical and nippy enough.....

but a £500 remap on this sees me over 200bhp! which will be enough im sure :P

and tis gorgeous!

nice nick! you must now justify your new purchase by adding a towbar to cart around your proper car :P

Only joking, at least you got something nice for everyday- get that mini proper stripped this time, make it silly!
