There are 2 of those driving around Blackpool. An ST orange one and a Kawasaki ninja green one. So nice.

Have you seen the Engine bay of that Caddy? it is un real, THE most empty bay i have ever seen!

Still, i think my favourite car from the show was the only non VW :P

May only be a replica but it is such an awsome car!

The twin engined MK1 golf was interesting, 2 20v turbo engines, we had a fairly close look and it didn't look like the rear engine was full connected up to anything, twas quite funny hearing people saying how that looks like it would be uber fast etc and they didn't know the second one wasn't connected :P I may be wrong, but it didn't look it to me....

do you know who the owner of that car is? did you catch his name? someone up here has built one out of an old quattro shell ( paid 8k for it and it was ruined) it's now well mint and i'm pretty sure thats exactly it.

Saw that at GTI international last year, was very impressed, not the most empty bay I've seen though *goes off to scour for pics*

Yer I might go. Picked up my golf mk2 gti 16v earlier for £150.00. Needs a gearbox and distributor. Got decent tyres, decent interior, lowered, be worth the 150 even if the gearbox and engine are screwed probably. Not bad for a project car I think. :D

Just why I love MK2's, unbeatable power to £ ^_^

Jolfa's top possibly money saving tip - when looking for a new gearbox, you don't have to use a 16v one, an 8v box will fit too, provided you get the friction disc to match :) 16v boxes seem to command a higher price + the 8v box has a taller 5th so it's slightly better on motorways (Y)

You do need a 16v dizzy though.

Update an Papa's camper.

Full front suspension rebuild and brake rebuild, new near enough everything except the majours, like arms and the beam. All new bushes ect. All painted up an repainted the beam, steering box, all arms, an innerwheel arches.

I'll grab some pictures soon :)

It would be easier, I've never really looked into 8v's much, but you'd need pretty much every bracket, hose, pipe, wire and bolt off an actual G60 engine to do it, (if you can infact just supercharge a normal 8v)

So you'd be best off just buying a whole engine, or a Corrado donor...

If it was as easy as you imagine to fit a turbo/charger to an engine, everyone would do it :P
