Prawny Baby
haha, I was going to say the same thing my kraut wagon isnt as heavy as everyone seems to think, and with 240bhp and 260lbft it doesnt hand around on the straights either! I reckon its goint to e quite a weapon when I get it finished and onto the track!I've been in Steves EG before Simon, and it was nice, but can yours really be that much different? I'm hoping to get the same power, and more torque than him (due to a more refined setup)onoly the new shape A3's come in 2.0. the 2.0 n/a is awful, dont go there. the 2.0T is 200bhp, and a lovely engine, but the cars are much heavier, so performance is similar, although in standard form, the 2.0T is obviously a tad quicker

dirtbiker
I might be going to have a look at a Bora on Saturday so if I get that I'd be well up for having a go on the track, especially if it's only £99!Only a 1.6 (100bhp) I'm afraid but will be getting some stiffer ARBs and some coilovers for it so should handle ok. Say castle combe spring action day? its open to all cars.....Or donnington in the new year? £99 open pit lane....Caleb, what are you asking about the TT?Definately mate.I think the spring action day at combe as it gives everyone a bit of a chance to sort their cars out and the weather to dry up;)When is donnington? tipsy Jock
oh dont get me wrong, 106's are amazing to drive, and If i didnt have the mini I would look at a gti or S1 rallye as a track car! but if i had one as a dailly, I would soon loose my job, as I could never be sure I would actually make it to work 5 days a week!Mines alright at the moment but it does like to spend some time on the axle stands Is that a challenge Diet? RobinJI
Mk5 1.8t gti? I'm guessing you mean that in the European way, as in not counting face-lifts as a seperate mk? making it the latest model the 9n2? Rather than a 6n2 with a 1.8t conversion?Either way, Nice one.
