scott-mad
after been totally addicted by vw's for a long time finilly got my first car after checkin over and over again that insurance was okay and they told us over and over yes thats the right price. so we got buy the car then ring up insurance then they tell us insurance is 2000 on my dad insurance rather than the 350 quid they quoted the day before!!! f**king c**ts i hate insurance companies. no either have to sell my beloved first car or just get insured for a month at a time every few! so bad its a polo mk4 6n btw. love it to bits, so sad seeing it on the drive doing nothing

the666ers
Hello one and all...Made a few small changes to the car visually and also had it rolling roaded..I've now got smoked lights all round and german plates, quite pleased with the overall look now - just needs engine and brakes changed for something special and I'll be done with this car, also need to pay a little attention to a few dings here and there but thats not the top of my priorities.I'd like to thank Jon Street at GSF totton for helping me out with all the FK stuff, and also like to thank the guys at Regal Autosport in southampton, for doing a wicked job on my 1.6 and draining an impressive figure out of her! Drives like a beast now and shocks anyone who's in it when I tell them it's a 1.6 carb engine The Polo you see in the pics is a good friend of mines, super tidy and all the work he's done himself to a really detailed standard. Hope you all like.Anyhow here are the pics:(p.s. I also have crystal red/smoked rears but havent had a chance to photo the car with these yet, the photo's above were taken before we went to ed38, and the graph a few weeks after)Thanks everyoneJames

MadManMike
Polo mk3's are so blatently the nicest VW's made if you mod them right....I love 'em. Finding a tidy one these days is a bit of a task though
Radfax
I have found a 1994 polo thats parked across the road from my school which i am MEGA intrested in. It will be some thing on the side with my mini but it wont be going through a complete strip down and rebuild, new interior some snexy wheels and get it lowered maybe a sexy zorst system put on it just some think to start driving it.Any advice on where to read up on VW's?Thanks Tom
nmt_oli
Those wheels are mint! I saw some on an A3, all standard and all about a month back and thought how nice they would be on a mk2- the pepperpot style looks like my origonal steels, which is cool.Do you have to run 5 bolt adaptors? by the looks of it, the adaptor/spacer is needed to correct offset too. MadManMike
Yeah I signed up to uk-polos.net years ago and was a regular on porka.net (The old clubpolo site if you didnt know)Funds for cars have gone completely out of the window due to b*****d credit card companies and my partner lending me a grand to replace my stolen dj gear...Thou shalt get a Polo in roughly a year (Another year, even more go rusty...)
