MadManMike
the weller website sayds they dont make em! very confusing.Hmm, well if they don't, they did last year!If anyone's into their polo's go to www.uk-polos.net - I've been a member there almost as long as on here!Just don't deal with merstham_phil - he fooked me over witha GT.went to santa pod today, el sexo was quickers than a polo gt. I was not expecting that. Is it a standard VTR?VTR's and Polo GT's as standard are pretty much evens, so if you've modded yours then yeah, you'd win
the666ers
Not really mate, a vtr is 1.6 and 90/100bhp, polo gt's are 1.3 and 75 bhp so theres a shit load in it!Need some advice, want a Vw as a first car, looking at a golf mk2 ryder 1.3? best place to pick one up/any forums etc?nice oneGet me on msn rich and I'll find you a few cars, you can pick up a good one for 500 quid if you play your car(d)s right
011001000110010101110010
The GT was so tidy, had a nice clean engine bay. He ran without the bonnet off. He has ATS classics James aswell
the666ers
Good choice of wheels - 13's for the win..There's a couple of berg cup gt engines/cylinder heads flying about on german ebay, 170bhp and 10k on the rpm I think that'd give the vtr a run for it's money

Mr Plod
Been meaning to make a post in here for a while. Dads got a VW Bay window camper van. 1972 so tax exempt. Had her about 3-4 years now but last 2-3 months been working on her.Took her away to Goathland in Yorkshire and then on way home ragged it a bit too much for too long and blew up the engine. Limped her home and got her on the ramps. In the last few weeks been building up another engine for her and boy oh boy is it mint. Just spent the whole of Sunday putting it in and its mint. Heres some piccies:Out with the old:In with the new (well the rebuilt engine):And here she is finally in after about two hours of trying to get it in: Another view with the Sports exhaust on :And here's a pic of her up on the ramps haha:Slammed? Not just yet Well thats all the pics for now. Still got along way to go before she's completely finished. Getting rid of that horrid bumper and the front panel below the windscreen is going to be redesigned.Should look very sexual once done. Will keep updated with the progress.By the way, the new engine is all race tuned and has twin racing cams and pistons in and everything with a sports exhaust. Its 1641cc whereas the old one was only 1600cc and that shall be rebuilt to 1641cc as well.Good stuff. Thanks for looking

Looking to get it sprayed Metallic Cherry red bottom half and white on top. So yah should look very nice when done

Andy Vox
That is one sexy vee dub beetle! I dont think you could have chosen a better colour either. Thanks I spent ages trying to think of a colour for her.I wanted red at one point what was i thinking. Then i took a colour chip for ferrari yellow and lambo yellow and choose something brighter, the pictures dont do the colour justice, its like a mirror and the colour is amazing. Whenever i polish it, it seems to rain before i can take a picture, wtf is that about
