Dan6061
freewheels tighten themselves or am i wrong? This is true. BUT, he means the lockring needs tightening, not the actual Freewheel itself
derenkirby
i heard from somewhere the lockring tightens anti-clockwise...is this true?? and are you sure you're tightening it and not loosening it
mtbjosh
surely he would notice the difference between tight and loose, a braindead chav could work that out(just ) what type of noise is it, a sqeak, grinding clicking, my mates fell to peices the other week with it being loose but he got a warning of very funky noises first. Dr Greenthumb
yeah they tighten anti clockwise, i dunno how you will go about that being it on the back of your bike, on the front i use a centre punch. Put the tip in one of the small holes (easy ) on the freewheel and pedal the cranks backwards. I know that dosnt help you at all so i'm going back to my corner......
