Joe Papasnap Maher
I would pay of debts, and thats it. I want to earn my money, my way, not get handed it. I will save for my car, drive it in the knowledge i've earnt it, buy a house and furnish it and live in it knowing i deserve to be here, and have worked my arse off to get here.No i'm not lying. Would probably donate a huge chunk to other people, other people who deserve it a lot more then i do.No you wouldnt simon, dont be so nieve
Simon
No you wouldnt simon, dont be so nieveI'm not, i've had a few people tell me how to get a loan, or even tell me they would lend me the money for my skyline, and i just don't want too. I wan't to earn the money to get it, it will be that much more worth while.Don't get me wrong, i'd be tempted as f**k to spend it on shit i want, but i would vow to myself not to, unless it was desperate times. I might spend it on making living more comfortable, ie, a house not in a shit town over run with chavs, but not no mansion, or super fast cars, just comfortable.I've even had this discussion with a friend a few weeks ago actually, as he was going on about how he keeps dreaming of winning and shit, and buying lots of cars, and i said the exact same thing then. I may buy a more economic car, but again, that's just to make life easier, and the fact my car is dieing a fast death already, and again, thats desperate times, as without a car, i have no job.I can swear to you now, i wouldn't go on a mass spending spree, i'll even bet you £500,000 i wont. I also didn't say donate to charity, i said to other people, other people that i know, and know need the money and would use it for the needs i would want them too.I wouldn't be a fool, i just like to achieve things of my own back. Hell, i needed money for fuel and shit, as waiting a month for first pay cheque on just a hundred quid is hard. My dad who is now earning god knows how much offered to lend me it, all i needed was 30/40 quid for food and petrol, my mum also offered, but i declined, and instead got work to give me a sub of my wages. The wages that i earnt and had worked hard for.I will borrow money if it somehow effects the person i'm borrowing off in a positive way. Like borrowing 4 quid of Katie to watch basket ball with her, as she really wanted me too. She lends me money, and she gains out of it.Shame i won't win the lottery so i can prove this to you. Simon
idiot..f**k chaity Dave le blind.I didn't say charity. Read the other posts bee arch. The only thing i can think of spending the money on, is funding a time machine so i can go back and correct a few mistakes i've made in my life. For no monetary value, there is just certain things i wish i didn't experience, but time travel is either impossible, or is priceless, so i'm just trying to satisify you people that don't believe i wouldn't spend it. Mark W
I'd buy TF and close it down jus to laugh at all the New members who cry over never being validated!Um I'd phone up the girl i've been after for ages and say ' yeah i'm loaded and yeah you don't like me but hey i'm loaded see you at 8 ' What, you'd actually go "Yeah, I'm loaded and yeah, you don't like me, but hey - I'm loaded. See you at eight, SHIFTY EYES"? I'm no expert, but that's probably gonna be a turn-off I'd help my Mum pay off any debts, pay my brother and sister's debts off from uni, help out any other close family members who needed anything to square anything away, then go f**king nuts ordering BMX and trials parts... plainlazy84
I would pay of debts, and thats it. I want to earn my money, my way, not get handed it. I beg to differ. Its easy saying that now whilst its not reality and never lilkely to occur anyway, and you dont have such worries. I dont see how you could even begin to imagine how it would feel like winning such an amount, becoming instantly rich, and how that would affect you. Not saying that youd turn into a materialistic whore and start buying Ferraris left right and centre, but I guarantee you wouldnt be able to put it in the bank and live pretty much as normal. If you won, you would change.
JT!
its already there, they don;t pay you your lottery winnings in cash. Get the winnings in cash and roll around in it for a few days.
anzo
Not tell anyone...well, try not to. And the look on my dads face when I pull up in a bentley GT...but saying that if I won a pound, I'd have still technically won the lottery. Tony Harrison
As the title says, what would be the first thing you would do/buy if you won the lottery, Post away.Well, I asked my mum if she'd buy me a car if she won the lottery and she said yes. A few weeks later she won a tenner. Did I get a car? Did I f**k.So my answer is... it depends how much I won. Obviously if I won ten pounds I wouldn't be buying a Ferrari or any of that rubbish. On Simon's point, I would rather take 20 years to make a million myself than win any amount on the lottery, BUT if I won the jackpot I'd be straight out to buy a few cars. Simon
thank you, someone agree's Pretty sure 99% of people would agree. And no plainlazy84, i can't possibly imagine what it will be like, but i would like to think thats exactly what i'd do, as the way i think and work, spending it on everything i could ever desire goes against everything i believe in, in myself. If you get me.
