nova666
Im building a rear 9-speed rear wheel for my XC bike (Kona Muni Mula)Rim:Mavic 712 SUPI have a Rear Shimano XT Disc Hub and a DDG DH Rear Hub (Not disc compatible)I know the XT is XT and is better allround but the DDG hub is as strong if not stronger and brand new but make's alot more noise due to it being new.I will not be using a disc brake on the rear of my kona just rim brake.Do you think i should just stick with the XT hub? N.Wood
and brand new but make's alot more noise due to it being new.Hubs shouldn't make noise, especially when they're brand new.Stick with the XT, though at the end of the day they're both gonna be fine for XC as long as you don't ride trials on them.
