Clawz114
Hi, just a quick question.I've just seen the new Heatsink metal magura backings, and i was wondering if anyone has any as i am considering getting some. They cost around £32 for a pair of metal backings and Heatsink pads. Although they look very nice, are they worth the money? Thanks Dan
Dan6061
I don't use them, but most reviews on them say they give the brake a much stiffer feel to it
mr_team
Id say they are worth it as they wont flex asmuch as plastic ones and refills are cheap to so you will save money in the long run.Ben

lovatt
To be honest i think their a very good idea but for the price they are not worth it, if you just set up your break well you wont get any flex from them (which you will notice). Heatsink pads are so good, it doesn't matter about a little modulation so it wont make a difference to the break. lovatt

They cost around £32 for a pair of metal backings and Heatsink pads. Although they look very nice, are they worth the money? Thanks DanNo its not, its £32 for a pair of cnc'd backings and coust pads, which are truly fantastic. The cnc'd backings are £24 punds with a set of heatsink pads in them. I got mine about 2 weeks ago and it is the nicest my brake has ever felt. It holds so well that it really does suprise me even now i'm used to it. The re-fills of coust material are £15 and the re-fills of heatsink pads are £8.And you can fit pads from other backings into them as well, say a set of plazmatics for example. Technical Tom
And you can fit pads from other backings into them as well, say a set of plazmatics for example. They wont just slip in, you will have to cut them down a little bit as the CNC backings are a bit narrower.Tom.
