nova666
Introducing the Yamaha Tricker Pro.Yamaha TrickerTricker'sI spotted this Yamaha concept x-games style motorbike about a year ago and thought it just looks awesome and hope that Yamaha bring this into production. Its amazing 250cc 80kg!!! Its like having a bmx - trials - crosser - dirt jumper all in one with a 250cc engine at only 80kg! I spotted it on a site that i cant find anymore, The site had all the specs and some amazing photos. Here are the only links i can find now:Tricker1Tricker2Tricker3Tricker4Here's what the net has to say:This concept model was developed around the idea of bringing to motorcycling an experience inspired by the exciting and physical world of "X-Games" today's sports lovers enjoy on surfboards, snowboards and BMX bicycles. It mounts an SOHC 223cc engine with great pick-up on an aluminum frame. Featuring a body with a short wheelbase equivalent to that of the YZ85 motocrosser and a low & short-cut seat, it proposes a new type of riding for the future that is nimble and maneuverable like a BMX. Here's a machine designed to offer a combination of the joys of physical sport, the challenge of honing technique and the thrill of showing off those hard-won skills. The one i seen before had a giro aswell its was even more crazy! The one i seen before had a giro aswell its was even more crazy!

Ash-Kennard
nah, looks shit will be shit. and im guessing very expencive. you wouldn't be able to ride it anywhere. i bet it wont be road legal so you would need a trailer/van. too much effort, just get a trials bike and a bmx, will work out cheaper too.also petrol and insurance? that would be expencive too

nova666
Not worth, 1) money2) hasle3) a wank....CheersWilkyThis is being made by yamaha remember so it will be a success and will not be cheaply built and will not brake.do you see a yamaha 250cc DT do a 40ft jump then brake?no.You dont like the idea of them crosser dudes being able to bar spin at 25ft then onto a grind and then flatlanding and then trials and back to 60mph to a 35ft jump that will take some skill. It WILL be cheaply made and it WILL cost a lot, the best thing yamaha did for offroad bikes was the TY/Majesty. Yes it will brake.yamaha do a 40ft jump? Do you think they don't replace anything after a jump like that?If that thing could hit 60 miles and hour I'd be impressed. It would be built for power, and would have to be VERY responsive, more responsive than normal trials engine.
mikey23
80 kgs is a bit heavy if you think about it.Trials motorbikes are only like 70 and most of them are 250cc (if not more)so i dont see why you would get one of these to do trials on...it seems kind of pointless
nova666
I still think this will be a big hit, only my personal appian,You cant call yamaha crap they make the best off-road bikes there is,they are not cheaply built strong as all the top motorcycle manurfactors(Honda,Kawasaki,KTM)If you know anything about yamaha you will know this will be very strong and very well built, Yamaha would not make something for it to brake on things it was made for.Yamaha make proper stuff that will not brakelike i said I think this will be great fun and a big hit making a new multi sport for x-games.Are you still scared of a 250cc engine? You still not thinking of being able to grind and have a giro on something that's nearly as light as a proper trials bike?I cant wait to see what guys will be able to on this thing it will be crazy.Just my peronal appian

Do you own, or have you ever owned a Yam? Do you know the rip of costs of Yamaha parts and the maintence involved with getting them to a decent standard? After riding motorbikes for 11 years, including a Yam Ty, then Yam Maj, another Yam TY, Montesa 315R (250) and then a Sherco (290) I know its VERY difficult to trick ride on a trials bike, something that weighs 10kg more then my sherco would be extremely difficult to ride like a bmx. An extra 10kg doesnt sound a lot, but think about having 10 bags of sugar cabletied to your frame...and those bikes are smaller (by the look of it) then a proper trials bike!!This won't take off, it'll be the craze with american 'dudes' for a month and disappear into the atmosphere.Buy a proper f**kin bike...
