Krisboats
Pig headsets are pretty well known for they're strength and long life. They can sometimes flare your headtube if not fitted correctly as they are made ever so slightly larger than most frames but if it's second hand i shouldn't think it would be a problem. Reliable, cheap and easy to maintain. A definate bargain for £
Jared
I have one on my xc bike.I like it alot, very smooth and nice.If you keep it greased and that should last you a loong time Also a bargain for £7 as long as its in top condition. Endohopper
Sounds like a good deal to me . Upon receiving it , ensure the bearings are in good condition , and that everything is complete . Gonna use an existing fangled nut already in the fork ? N.Wood
They're great headsets, their only detriment being their weight but whatever. I've run a few in my time, and they've all been pretty much faultless. I managed to crack and pit the bearing race on a 2 year old one, but thats pretty damn good. All the pig's i've owned have lasted longer than my old Hope did.£7 is dece, go for it.
