nmt_oli
I was thinking of marshalling, but it meant getting up at 5am (sign on to marshall at 7 ) plus i have no car to get there, and i want to ride pompey tomrorrow. If i had a car i would be in bournemouth right now marshalling the special stage, as i was asked to do that, but wasnt sure what i was doing tonight, and now i know i can't get there! grrr. Trials Punk
Its always worth going just to see some MK1/2 Escorts. They do rip.Anyone seen a guy in a gold toyota corolla doing some rallys, a extremely fast guy. Pritty sure he was placed first in the welsh rally champs last year. Argh can't remember.Anyway yeh fast.
haydon_peter
Yeah I went tonight.I was stood on the bandstand side of the winter gardens right near the burger van.Got to see a few messups on the first chicane. One car nearly went head on into the barrier, a few has some close calls loosing the back end on the same chicane and it was nice and amusing when a 206 clipped the back end on the metal fencing coming out of the same chicane.Cars included 205's, 206's, a 106, a couple of old Escourts, an Escourt Cosworth, a shed load of Impreza's etc...I was most disgusted to see a Corsa on the start line, then the thing was rapid as f**k I have also never in my life seen a Land Rover go so fast If I could get there tomorrow I would deffinately be there but I have no way of getting there
that NBR dude
haha yea Tic, them Disco's go well fast. Dont know if I would be comfortable going that fast in one!Big up to the number 82 Pug 205 GTi driven by Andy and Stu from BikeLab in Poole They managed to keep it on the road all day, which is impressive. A total of 22 cars retired out of the 70+ that started this morning
