Graffics And Sponsors

Recommended Posts

As the guy who tries to promote Graffics.co.uk we have made a decision to sponsor someone who can prove they are worth being sponsored. This is not one of these fake things, we are actually going to sponsor someone.

The Terms And Condisions:

Send me your best riding picture or video, or a link, that is actually you and have proof.

If you are chosen it will be for a season.

It's the person that proves to me that they are worthy of this.

It's to promote both the rider and our company, you will get a tee with all custom stuff on, and fancy designed stickers, and hopefully we might be producing chainstay protection.

Post pictures up of you, and links to get videos.

First of all, it's "Sponsor" and "Sponsored". If you're trying to make people want to be sponsored by you, looking a bit more pro might help your cause.

Secondly, what will they get out of it? If they're being forced into riding comps (which you didn't even specify which ones they had to be), which is going to cost them money, what are they getting out of the deal? Fancy stickers don't really = the cost of riding comps, and so on...

EDIT: You do know it's spelt "Graphics" too, yeah? Or is that just your name?

Still not overly convinced. I mean, say I was interested in entering for this - I'd be getting a £10 max T-shirt with your company name on, but I'd have to pay the £20 petrol costs to get to a comp, then the £10+ entry fee, then money for food 'n' drinks - why not just say "Anyone good"? Comps are going to get you more exposure than a street rider making videos or getting in pictures could anyway?

Oh, and me asking about "graphics" was related to the "for all your graffical needs" thing...
