Ingram Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 hello basically i have to complete a rma form to get a new chipset fan from asus basically i dont understand what they mean by this......Part / BIOS revision: (Must fill) Motherboard Version: (Must fill if purchasing BIOS chip, ignore if else) Total Amount included:(Must fill) Please type in all details listed above as "Must fill", print and include this form with your cheque or postal order, and we will have the requested item delivered to you as soon as possible. i dont uderstand what the part/bios revision is and the other stuff and weather i need to fill in the motherboard version? can some one please help me. thanks alot Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
poopipe Posted February 22, 2006 Report Share Posted February 22, 2006 bios revision would be the version of the bios - not relevant if all you need is a new chipset fan. I think you need to write 'chipset fan for <whatever> chipset' or a part number . To be safe I'd phone them up and ask cos if you get it wrong theyll send you the wrong thing.motherboard version is probably just the full name of the mobo - in my case GA-k8nxp-sli , yours will be different . you aren't buying a BIOS chip so you can ignore itthe last bit would be the amount of money you're sending them- £0 would be my guess, unless you broke it yourself Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
