Alan
I received my heatsink pads today after 8 days of waiting, but i got red pads instead of blue(as i stated when paying). I really cant be arsed to wait another 8 days for some different pads, So i was just wondering is there any real differeence apart from the colour? Swize
All i can say mate is stick them on your bike and see if you like them.Thats all well and good but I think what he was saying/asking was are they better or worst than the bules. So if people said the reds where crap he would send them back and get Steve to replace them for blues etc.But if he puts them on his bike he can't send them back . Heatsink
Hi there,Sorry I didn't get a chance to send out emails about the colour change on some of the pads. It's been a hectic week including amoungst other things my car being declared dead and having to be scrapped! My goal is always to offer the very best pads I have available. So for the Vee and CNC magura pads, these only come in red at present. I need to update the website when I can find some time. The reds are indeed a completely different compound to the blues. These CNCed backings are the premium items in the range so I'm happy to include the red pads with the CNCed backings even though these pads are more labour intensive for me to produce to the required shape than the blue pads. The Blue pads are quicker and cheaper to produce, so I pass this onto the rider by selling these blues at a much lower price in the plastic backings. The red vees offer indentical performance to the white pads, with the advantage that the build quality is very slightly higher (although the whites were pretty good I might say!) SteveThats all well and good but I think what he was saying/asking was are they better or worst than the bules. So if people said the reds where crap he would send them back and get Steve to replace them for blues etc.But if he puts them on his bike he can't send them back . Heatsink
Unfortunately I did have an uncharacteristic delay with sending out pads. This was due to my wife and son being rather ill with this nasty bug that was going around. There is currently a very small delay with pads taking between 2-3 days to send out. I should be back to normal by the end of this week Thanks for your understanding!Stevewhy did it take so long to arrive

downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
True the wheel? It's not exactly rocket science. It is for that guy I doubt the pads will wear down any time soon, as they are amazing compound and dont wear down too quick.I had the reds on my bike for a good 5ish weeks, and they only worn down around 2-3mm in that time (harsh grind most of the time) but then i decided to go back to the koxx bloxx and keep the reds for spare. The bloxx and really grippy and loud, when the reds were really grippy and quiet. i love REALLY loud brakes but dont have the money for some coust's God damn, lou's Bday soon
