Tom Booth
Alright lads, considering an ashton frame, As im getting bored of this long low shit.Right whats the Thinnest back rim i could fit in? Could i get away with a d521? or ex721 whatever there called now? just wondering as i rode my friends ceramic rim tonight and oh my god, its so nice, the brake so scilent but works amazingly.Whats the bb width?Does it feel ok for the more streeety stuff with it being a 1065? does the +20 bb make it feel abit more streeetier.CheersTom
Ali C
the frame mounts are 95mm, hopfully that can answer your rim question? It takes a 73mm shelland yes, it can be set up very streety, bosh on a 90mm stem and some 2" risers and your away! Though that doesnt limit you street, I came 3rd in elite at a comp with that setup too.
Tony Harrison
The wheelbase of the frame is more like 1055mm. They're really nice to ride. Does seem funny all these people wanting to get shorter frames again. I always said 1080+ was boring but nobody listened...

011001000110010101110010
I had a quick ride on Porters yesterday and it was very nice indeed. Even with huge scratches on the down tube and some silly advertising on it.On another note, an update on mannings wheelbase: 1140 mm and growing!
