_skj0lsvik_
yeah, I`ve been riding on my BT 5.0 for almost a year now. But I feel like its almost boring to ride it : (I cant manual it, cant bunnyhop it properly, its not as fun to ride anymore. So, I`ve planned to buy a new frame after a little while. Thinking a little about the BT6.0 in 1065 lenght, its shorter so I can probably manual it easier and bunnyhop it easier? What do you peeps recommend me to do? I`ve looked on the Planet-X Alibongo frame too, looks pretty nice : )Advices would be great Thanks, Sondre
N.Wood
Could try fitting a shorter stem and riser bars to your current bike and see how it feels? Raising the front end will help with bunnyhops and manuals too.If it's still not street enough, i'd go with the 1065 version over the Planet X as there were some problems with snappage on the PX's. rathergoodpie
ha, how bizarre!I had the exact same situation. I was also feeling that my riding was becoming stale. Soooo... i went from this....to this.....I THOROUGHLY recommend this frame for any riders who are moving away from the whole uci style of riding, as is isn't as drastic as going back to something uber-short, but yet still has tha capabilities of manuals/spins/bunnyhops. Its also got the advantage of bb rise, meaning things like hooks should be just as easy/easier. AND its relatively cheap at 250 quid and its ace and i love it and.. you get the idea. This is a phenomenal frame, and im loving mine to pieces! They have really put the fun back into my riding and i now feel like ive had a new lease of riding life. Im sure Ali C and Porter will back me up on the frame too Rob

_skj0lsvik_
f**k, thats nice. But I`ve tried shorter stem with much rise(90*35`) and it helped a little, but not enough. I run some riser bars too, not good enough. So, what should I do? There isnt anyone who has an alibongo and a pic of it?

flipkickbs
Although the bt6 1065 is a shorter bike, it would still be very trialsy. Have you considered a curtis or a leeson? those frames can still be awesome for pure trials, and yet you could easily take them to a skatepark and do some crazy street maneuvers! Mr Motivator
Go for the Ali Bongo, I have one that I rode for a few months. I loved it, it was the perfect natural/street mix. Infact, I may have to build it up again some day.
spunkey_monkey_boy
i have to say i'm still a big leeson fan even though i've got a long control atm too. i'm now finding the control is too long and getting a bit boring where as the leeson is still ok for natty and great fun on the street.just need to combine the two so i onlt have one trials bike to be fair...theres an idea - anyone interested in a clear660 frame or an echo control long? will sell or part ex/swap for a short control or newer justice. unless clive wants to build me a mid length leeson
PaRtZ
unless clive wants to build me a mid length leeson I was just about to say that. Sounds like the solution to your prob. Unless you know the wheelbases of both your bikes and find a pre made frame which is in the middle already?I've gone from a short mod frame to a long mod frame and getting along ok. But I guess there's sometimes I still want a short frame

_skj0lsvik_
yeah, its a lot of talking about the ashton frames nowadays.Maybe I`ll just have one pure trials bike and one street bike with front suspension : )It may be better that way ...
