back when i first started in the late 90s they were called rock wall drop offs, god knows why but back then every trick had a crap name. They were in one of Ashtons how to sections in MBUK with him dropping off the edge of a quarter pipe. Seem to remember it got a maximum difficulty rating too

Rock walk?????

Hans rey does them in T&S but not off a drop or anything.

The description he gave made me think of a vid I have at home of the bike show, one of monty's 20" riders does a cool back to front wheel switch, swings the back end out, and jumps off clean...

180 on the front wheel to drop off is what we always used to call them...why bother with names when you can just be accurate? Surely we're not all so lazy that we have to call it a 'helicopter drop'. Eventually that will become 'chopper drop'. Then 'chopper'. Then 'chop'. Then 'ch'. Then there won't be a move left because there'll be no name for it.

No, wait, I'm talking shit, ignore me.
