watto
i run a very cheap hayes cable disc but it works immensely well i think the most common you will find is the hope mono trials but i dont like them not enough modulation

roby James124
i would go for shimano 525 because it cheap and the feal of the brake is really good but it is mostly personal preference the most coman is hope thowrob
Fishy
I don't use a disc, but if I did, it would be either a Magura Julie, Avid Juicy 7 or Hope Mono Mini, with a gothic rotor. They look and perform great. Loads of my mates use those brakes, and they hold really nice
trialsinchris
im getting an avid bb7 because i have only ever heard good things about them and they are a reasonable price too
Fishy
I've heard a lot of good things about the bb7 as well, I forgot to say. I know a few people that use them on freeride bikes. They are extremely powerful, i thought they are a bit of an over kill though. Maybe a bit too powerful and not enough progression for my likings. But the best thing to do is try one out. Find someone locally and have a go on their bike. See how you like it before you buy it.
Bazz
The last trials bike i had was fitted with a Hope Mono m4 with 160mm Disc, It was a good brake but I'm going to stick with Magura rim brakes from now on. The only reason i had the disc was because the frame i had only had disk mounts so i had no choice.

Gavyn.
The mini mono will be fine if you get some good pads.do you have the 180 rotor version as that is the one i am getting.

Jaffacakes
Go for a hope. They all rock. Mine works amazingly when it's not contaminated... which it usually is.
1337 Trials
contaminated?
N.Wood
contaminated?...With oil/bird shit. If you put a lubricant on something that works on friction it won't work.I use an Avid BB7.6" disks on a mod is fine, you have pussy wheels that only need pussy disks
az_zoo
I run front maggie with home made pads but, i would recommend a hope try-all disc.
