Zordon
The front spokes Headset is 1.5 inch though. It's probably a lacing called "snow flakes". I had it in mod rear wheel and there was a lot of flex on the spokes.Headtubes are normal 1 1/8 inch size for standard oversize headsets. PaRtZ
who said an XTP?? how is £545 for a frame not over priced? You can do up a T-pro for that price, and thats not just a frame
Lukeee
He was complaining about frame flex before though Seeing as theres only two in the country at the moment i would very much doubt you have rode one of the Gazza's. The people that rode James Butchers one on Sunday at the first Essex round liked it. When we compared James Old monty 221Ti frame and his new Gazza. The Gazza has a far far stiffer back end and weighs alot less. James came 3rd in Elite.I wish people would actually ride stuff before they comment on things. 011001000110010101110010
How many Ti trials frames have you ridden?
flipkickbs
If that was directed at me then none, but from other posts i have read, i've heard that ti frames are flexy.
011001000110010101110010
Ok, no problem so long as anyone who reads that "Ti frames flex" doesn't take it as gospel.
TomN
How about a Leeson mod then?
011001000110010101110010
Typical leeson build qualitly, expect nothing less. Just be prepared to wait while it is made for you, after Clive has tried talking you out of a long wheel base.
walker
this is what you want, there isn't a more responsive or more ridgive frame than this, and this has a 1038 wheelbase and it looks the dogs nads. But its up to you.-Andrew
T-Limburn
lush!!!the leesons seem like a good frame. leeson uses steel which is stronger than ali (generally) but heavierdeng frames are good so why would you not consider any of them??? MadChikken
It's probably a lacing called "snow flakes". I had it in mod rear wheel and there was a lot of flex on the spokes.Yeah ur right...joyous snowflake weave! You need a very skillful wheelbuilder to do it right with no flex, and if u have a nasty landing u could lose a bunch of spokes at once! It doesnt help with strength or anything, just looks pretty. Is very popular in roadracing for sum stupid reason.....Stay away to be honest....Oh and back to topic...if ur gonna complain about every other type of mod frame then get a leeson one and be done with it. Clive is the best guy in the world and u'll get an amazing frame outta it Edited April 2, 2006 by MadChikken

Walleee
Monty 221pr is the best frame for those on a budget as far as I can see...
Greetings
But don't you think that 400 IS overpriced? I'd get an 05' Python, it's still good quality, not like the 06 Deng frames which are crooked and badly made.
