PaRtZ
I'm quite chuffed that I've finished my second ever wheelbuild in only 2 hours. I also managed to spray my rim with loads of layers before I started building too Anyway just being nosy to see how bad my time is among all yours. The time DOES include truing too

Joe_Elding
When i was running a disc it took about 20-30mins as i couldnt be bothered how true it was or anything. If i wanted to do a good job it would take 1hr30mins ish

sir trial a lot
About 45-50minutes from sitting with a rim in one corner of the room, spokes in another and the hub in my hand to having the wheel built, trued, rim taped with electric tape and tube and tyre fitted. Ive done a few now though
Hobnobs
Did one today in about 1 'n' a half hours. It was radial so didnt take very long to build, but i like to spend a long time getting it as true as i can.

Tomm
The last one I built probably an hour, but that's because I wanted to try out my new disc ASAP. It's not very straight, but then again it doesn't really have to be The first one I built a while back I took ages over (I didn't have a bike to put it on) was much straighter, I probably spent 2-3hours on that, getting it right. At the end of the day a wheel's a wheel and if it's in one piece and fits through the forks, it's fine by me

gavtrials
To get a nice strong pucker wheel build normally takes atleast a good 30 mins!Allways nice and easy with new rim/spokes/nipples.Once you have built alot of wheels it just like riding a bike! Mark W
I've never used the right spokes, and I've never built a wheel from seperate bits, it's almost always been either replacing a rim or replacing a hub. Sketch.Anyways, takes me about an hour to do it OK. 'cept I use Try-All rims, and my front had a weird-ass buckle in it that is impossible to tame. How hard can it be to make a rim round

street trials rider
i take my time and make sure its all perfect, including trying to get the logo (if there is 1) on the hub inline with the valve hole, stress it, then re-tension, stress and re-tention again then i'm usually done in about 1 1/2 - 2 hours

011001000110010101110010
He said the logo on the Hub, not the one on the rim. Wheels can be made so that they do not line up due to the vast number of posisitions the hub could be in, in relation to the rim.
