Smo™
First of all, I'd like to apologise for the size (in both pixels and kilobytes) as it's quite large - but I wanted to put some real effort in here and try and make something at least a little bit special. This is my contribution to Valentines Day '06 and has taken some rather intensive brushwork, a few hours and about 6 cans of Cream Soda.Anyway, here she is: Edited February 14, 2006 by Smo

Smo™
Thanks for the replies, and manxrider - I agree actually. I'll edit the the pic in about 2 seconds with a slightly less 'in your face' background.

Tomm
So you're sending her a card with a picture of her semi-naked on it? My girlfriend wouldn't be impressed by that, but perhaps yours will. Still, nice photoshopping.
Smo™
It has nothing to do with anybody. I just made it.

AndyT
looks great, my only qualm with it is the spacing in will you be my valentine...i can tell you are trying to justify it with the date ; perhaps make the kearning wide throughout the sentance as opposed to just in between the words.. Smo™
Ok, so who is she? And why is she wearing knee-high boots when she's clearly on the beach because she's wearing a bikini...Having a bad day? Let's start this from the top. She's not clearly on a beach because she's wearing a naval officers uniform (well, half of one). As for the boots, try asking any professional photographer why he'd want a hot celebrity to wear anything made of leather. As stated in the sub title to the thread, her name is Catherine Bell and she played Susan Ortega in Bruce Almighty, she also starred in Jag.looks great, my only qualm with it is the spacing in will you be my valentine...i can tell you are trying to justify it with the date ; perhaps make the kearning wide throughout the sentance as opposed to just in between the words..Appreciating the crits there mate, however that's the spacing on the font I used. I see what you mean though and I'll change the font and mess with the spacing myself. Thanks guys

Smo™
Yeah the brushes are downloaded Sam, unfortunately I haven't downloaded anything new for PS in a long time - I found them whilst browsing the collection 'bout a week ago. I'll check out the names of 'em though.
dave84
Nice pic. Some good photoshop skills there. Fit bird too. The only problem i see is that you're asking someone to be your valentine by giving them a picture with a half naked girl on But great pic, and fit girl
Simon
He isn't actually sending it to anyone, it's just typography. More then likely asking the girl in the picture to be his valentine. You people don't understand art. Good work Smo, is really good, and to get the appreciation of brendan take's a lot.
