Ash-Kennard
limey is a great choice.as for feeling like starting again, don't worry about it, you will still have all your skills on whatever bike you ride, you will just need time to adjust. Ali C
going to 26" will be the best thing you ever did!! dont worry about wether you will be able to ride them or not, you will be able to ride it (people who say they are harder are just quitters)
Simpson
If you have the $$$ go for it! (stock is far better ) but all yhr principles are the same, ballance e.t.c. it may take weeks / few months to adapt too but just be like getting used to a high bb rise. the main problem i can think of is differences such as sidehopping to the right being a NO NO e.t.c. Jaffacakes
I think switching to stock will be the best thing you ever do. You are like 7 foot tall aswell so look like you are riding a clowns bike

Ash-Kennard
tiagra mech, lock it out, middleburn cranks with the 16tooth bash, get a 14tooth rear sprocket, the pro2t hub, and a kmc kool chain and your away
mat hudson
people say its harder to do stuff on stocks, but really it isnt. a kid round here had a go on marks bike and my bike and he was far more at home on mine trying to backhop. i think people just assume mods are easier to start on because they're small.EDIT: way to go spazzy typo hand.
