Ben Geary Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 Just wondering if is there are any way to make my headphones work on my computer, i've put them in back of the tower and in the front but it just won't work, i don't have any were to put them in speakers either, they just don't want to work.I've tried 3 pairs of headphones aswell, is there any setting i can change to make them work.Cheers,Ben. Yup becuase the other other 2 sockets are for the microphone and line in ?Speaker one = GreenLine in = BlueMic in = Red Just wack out the one the speakers are plugged in to then stick they headphones in should alllll be good. Tomm Posted February 13, 2006 Report Share Posted February 13, 2006 It depends, most modern PCs have 5.1 surround sound, so there will be 3 holes, one for front speakers, one for rear and one for front/sub. And then in addition to that, one for mic and line in as you said (so 5 altogether). But nothing will come out of the other jacks unless you've set it up for 5.1.
