Ben Geary
You would pay some one £20 for them to grind your rims, thats stupid , just get a grinder and do it your self it's easy really.
Jaffacakes
Now way pay that much to get your rims ground, thats the price of a grinder. Just search on how to grind rims then do it. I just did my mates rear rim and sliced my finger open on the blade when i was spining it around to do the next part and it well hurts I had to wait about 10 mins before i could finish it off because I kept pouring blood every where. It's really easy to do though basicaly grinder+a decent blade+technique= a nice grind.
Gavyn.
ask around on here see if any of your mates (with experience) could do it for you.
Impacted.
I expect tartybikes could get it done for about a tenner posted but that's still a waste of money. Do it yourself, it's piss easy, dont sweat it.
wardie
dont pay someone otherwise u'll never learn yourself and u'll have to pay 2 squid everytime your grind wears down.just buy a grinder and safety gear, look up one of the videos( theres one in the faq in trails chat) and get a mate to show you hot to do it then just learn yourself.if your really not that confident do it on an old rim or something.sam
skye_trials
I was really worried about grinding my rim in case i went through it, so before i tried it on my rim i got a scrap piece of steel and ground that. I experimented first though to see which angle i had the grinder at gave the best grind. So as everyone else says just do it you're self. Dan6061
Just try it yourself on an old wheel. Use a stone-cutting disk too, doesn't wear the rim as much as a metal-cutting one

Mark W
go nuts, press on the rim medium pressure, its fun. "Mark, do my rim for me.""Nah, you do it Mat.""Mark, just do it for me.""Mat, you've got to learn one day.""Mark, just grind it.""No.""Grind it.""OK."Eventually, Mat weaned himself off markgrind and did it himself. Now we're all groovy.

011001000110010101110010
Admitadly its pretty hard to mess it up properly. You can feel the grinder start to pull away from you, then you know that its about to go pear shaped so pull it back a bit.
Davetrials
it takes me about 60 seconds to do my rim holding the tyre with one hand and the grinder in the other ull see how easy it is.about 30 if the tyre is off.
Krisboats
thats the way i do it too dave, everyone thinks i'm crazy for doing it like that but i reckon they're just too scared or too weak to hold the grinder with one hand. Its so much fatser as well. You just deflate your tyre grind a bit, spin the wheel, grind a bit, spin the wheel and then flip it over and do the other side. Then pump your tyre back up and away you go. Awesome.
anzo
Send your Wheels and 20 quid and I'll do it Joke. Seriously, do it yourself, its a peice of piss. Although before you do, do you REALLY need to do it? I did it and ruined my braking power, my pads and eventually my rim, and I can't be arsed fecking about with 2 blocks of rubber for 20 quid trying to get it back to how it was before when my 20 blocks and a smooth rim (and a bit of tar) works perfectly.
