CurtisRider
they define street as tapping that big ass wall, or sidehopping onto a rail, whateverfor real street, a good cheap frame is the base ta26, frickin awesome lil bike-i dumped my curtis to go back to one curtis frames are ok, but ive never been too impressed by the quality of them and their customer service is among the worst out in my experience leeson frames seem to be mighty popular among 26 and 24inch riders, however i havent ridden 1 yet, so cant really comment on personal experience, clive seems to actually care about his customers too unlike gary...the megamo frames are pretty sweet for street too, i really liked my radical i found around the 1030-1040 mark to be a really good *comprimise* between uber flicky street bikes length and long, low and shit bikesoverall i would say the base, seeing as it wont be such a huge jump for you as your last bikes have been pretty long, so it wont feel as odd, and also cos they are kickass frames

(im not that streety)
Tomm
If I was gonna ride 26" again I think I'd have a Zebdi. They're dirt cheap now and they're nice for street. That's if you can find one that's still in one piece though... I've not ridden a 26GHz though, they sound good too

Trials_joe
I don't find my Pure that flicky though. In street you want it flicky dont you really? My mates Mongoose Ritual is heavy but flickable
Ash-Kennard
usually i would say leeson for street, but now i have a long control, i can wallride, spin and manual better than ever. which is just weird. i think the best length for a street type bike should be from 1025-1040

Endohopper
I'm with Pauloliver on this one , Base's TA26 is a pretty underappreciated street frame . Sure , it's not one of the big brand fashionable companies , but this represents execellent value for money . Once the supplied bashplate has been discarded , you're left with a flickable bike that's obedient on the back wheel , and feels very stable .Also , many seniors on here ride / rode 'em . My streety / trialsy setup : Edited February 14, 2006 by Endohopper
Vasil
I say who what likes...I think you cand do streety tricks with bigger wheebase as well but nothing longer then 1060...like ashton but they are good for natural too...anyway i have a magellan tucana 2003 which has 1045 with my current fork( chainstay: 40 cm) I think it's pretty cool anyway it depends on you...just look people like leech he do not ride the best bike for trials and he is good in trials so half mentality half bike
