Ash-Kennard
could this not be an innovation? Rebate V-adaptors:Pair of 4-bolt clamp-on CNC alloy Brake pivots that can be positioned to fit 24 or 26” wheels. Black anodised. 3mm safety screw prevents spinning. Weight: 117g pr RRP £ 24:99 pr would these fit trials forks? if so these could be used to help all the 24" riders to use decent forks for a change, and would allow people who bought disc only forks to use vee mount if needed, say if you split your disc hose etc. I'm not advertising im allowing people to see what is availiable. dwarrick
i think its a neat idea. making sure they are in the right position and making sure they stay there would be key though.
Tomm
I'm pretty sure they're only for those forks. There's nothing to stop some innovative person coming up with some for other forks though. They ain't new though, Pace forks about 10 years ago had a similar thing. And obviously the Ashton forks have both 24 and 26 mounts
dave85
Pace have made them for years, but as said, the trick is making them stay put under heavy braking. All assuming they'll fit the fork, i can think of quite a few that dont have round legs.
Ash-Kennard
ok, well i had never seen them before and thought they could be helpful. but seeing as they have been around for 10 years or so, how come no one has made any for trials forks? or even 4-bolt mount versions? dave85
Wanting moveable mounts for 24" is a relatively new need, as is having disc only forks.
Guest
I'd say they havn't been mass produced because you would need to bring out a range of fitment sizes to cover all forks, there isn't a big enough market for that sort of thing regarding a business point of view.....
