2sixstreet
Another vote for hairspray. Spray it along the bar, give it a light wipe with a clean rag so its tacky, slip the grip on and you're away.
Ali C
double sided tape, just roll up each edge of the grip, wrap it around the bar and peel off backing, roll grip back down and no more slippy grips
Wright Pads
It's due to be some type of chemical in there, it's the same active ingredant as in car paint spray. I remeber reading in MBUK, heheh

mini
Hi you could try putting some selitape on ur bars to hold your grips in place or what i sometimes do is spray hair-spray on my bars. This is slippy at first but if you wait for it to dry it's really good aswel. thanks from stu
Onza Kieron
Try getting some thinish wire(thicker that fuse wire though but not much) and wrapping it round your grips at each end then tightening it by twisting it, holds fairly good if you don't want to be spraying stuff around. Clarky
Try not to get some foam grips if it is a rainy part of the year yet if it is summer they are the best in my opinion, i think you chould try superglue.Clarky

thirsty2
spray a bit of hair spray into the grips, slide them on, take them off again, give the bars a wipe then put the grips back on again, repeat these steps until no movement at all. works fine for me. And to stop them moving up and down your bars use grip stops, you can get them out of grip shifts, and put bar ends at the end off your bars, these have two purposes, one: to protect your bars from walls, and two: to stop the grips from sliding off the bars. this set up is perfect. my grips have never moved at all.Hope this helps and sorry its so long, haha.Alex.P.S good luck in the competition mate.
