Street Lee
Read all the posts about ceramic rims and the general choice seems to be standard maggy pads, ceramic pads or koxx browns. Anyone got any personal experience with any of the above setups? Going on the rear and I'd like quite a bit of modulation...
Tom Booth
If its any help ill lend you them koxx reds? try them out for abit see what you think? CurtisRider
i use ceramics front and rear with my v brakes, using plaz crv pads=kick ass, spanish flies also=kick assi didnt get along with heatsink pads, they seemed a tad too bitey with no hold, as for standards, im yet to try them, i may give them a go on the front and mines too powerful
Ben Geary
I've been running koxx browns and Tensile bubble gum pads with my ceramic, the koxx browns were good, locked well and had load of bite. The tensile pads are just awesome, bite well and have loads of hold i would say there a bit better than the koxx browns, i was running some heatsink pads with a avid ultimate v brake and they were really good aswell.I would say go for the tensile bubble gum pads but i don't think there out online yet, i got mine from super cycles and the guy said theres till proto types and there not out yet but still he let me buy them.I you can't get any bubble gum pads go for koxx browns, heatsink reds/blues i'm sure they would all be great. Street Lee
The general opinion was that plaz' were slightly too good on ceramic, I wanna be able to feather the brake. Got two different types of pad on my bike so I'll try both of them and the koxx reds that tom's got and see how I get on. Koxx browns seem to be the pad of choice though... ManxTrialSpaz
I've been running plazmatic CRMs and they've been great! When set up properly there'll be a nice deep squeak and ultimate stoppage. They're a bit 50/50 when wet though And don't worry, you can feather a plaz, whether it's a lever touch or just set your pads up crap

You didn't get them from supercycles, you got them from ME and no he let ME buy them, then i gave them to you because they wore out so damn fast, half the pad had gone by the time i was about 200 yards down the road. worst pads i've ever bought, even though i was advised to use them because i had a grind. I should really have taken them back but i guess its too late now.
