The enchanted broomstick
I believe they are called Themes. You can download computer themes for XP from a fair few places free and premium ones. To use them you right click the desktop then click the themes tab at the top. What i personally preffered though was windows blinds. This is the freeware version so it doesnt cost anything The only thing a bit annoying is you get a splash note on the screen when you log onto the computer saying "continue" or "purchase" just clicking continue gets rid of it though. Then if you go to here You can find yourself a good looking theme, click the download button, subscribe to their services oh the joy. Then you are free to download themes from the website.Actually looking at them has kind of made me want to get a new one, stu
NeillyB
Or do it the way all the other cool kids do and download a pirated version of it, then maybe your desktop will look as cool as mine;Wooooo

Tomm
Search for a patch for uxtheme.dll - It's a much better way to change themes etc as you don't have to run another program (E.g. StyleXP/WindowsBlinds), you just change them via the desktop properties.
