frozenfrogsocks
Any decent bike shop should do them, I got a set of 661 shin-knee's for about £35 and they've stood up pretty well Quite comfortable too. Zipper
SixSixOne Veggies! Ask for them at any good bike store and they should sort you out with them for under £30 Trust me its worth having them, they are the most preferred for the riders of barnstaple i'd say!Jay
Euro Braker
I get all my armour from http://www.stif.co.uk/. Might not be the cheapest place but they deal almost any make of pads and helmets.

Wright Pads
Be a man not a boy or girl and grin and bare it i say. I do as do manny.Though wearing them and having it slap you in the shin with them on will make you look ard as as you wont flinch when the pedals hit you shinns now! Mark W
When I wore shin pads, the 661 Veggie wraps were the best ones available. To my knowledge, they still are. Great pads, but I still prefer the feeling of not wearing them. Not a sadist here, but the ratio of dealing with ultra hot, sweaty legs:pain from pedal slaps wasn't quite right. I haven't had one for a while to be honest, they seem to just give me a nip once in a while then leave me be, so I don't necessarily need them.*touch wood*
chisholm
be a man !!!thats wat you need to do none of the potection on the legs just were a helmet and your fine cheerschiz

bikerboysam1
I bought a pair of Dainese shin/knee pads myself, and I think they are deffo worth having. The only disadvantage, is they cost about £50 But still worth it if it saves your shins!!! mini
If i was you i would get fox shin pads i got myself a pair just over a year ago and i still use them. they don't cover your knee but this is good becuase you get more movement and it doesn't rub. They cost about £20-£30 and i think i got mine from bike dockthaks from stu!

bikerboysam1
just get decent pedals then this wouldn't happen, i havent done it for about 5 months and im on vp'sI don't think that would help ash, because if you think about it whatever you slip on, you are still slipping; and will therefore still hit your shins.Well you guys might not understand what i mean but I do,Hope I've sort of helped,Sam
