Well today my english teacher gave us the horrible topic of a INDIVIDUAL speaking and listeng piece of course work (N)

He said we have to talk about a hobby of our choice and persuade people to take up this hobby. We have to use persuave techniques, and i have no-idea what to write trials wise. Any ideas to please help me?

i got a C only because i used common language and had hands in pockets so re doing it tommorow i will get an A!! lol good luck man!

I almost did that, but i realised i don't know to much about it, (My teacher sed i cud have teken bike in)

This is how i wud have done it if i did

well start with the history of trials,

then explain how you got into the sport,

run over bike (point out the bits that make it a trial bike, wide rims, lower frame NO SEAT :o etc)

go on about it etc hope i helped

It's not really cheating because its just somthing to do instead of revision the mark dosnt go towards an overall grade, its just marked as if it were a peice of coursework

Thanks for that word document over msn ash, its helped me alot (Y)(Y)(Y)

talk about the feeling you get doing it, the rush, the people, the friendships, the way it makes you happy everytime you nail a line. also talk about the costs, the competitive side of things-all that kinda stuff, i preusme this is your yr 11 thing? only takes like 5mins so you have loads to talk about in such little time

remember, speak clearly, hands to your side(unless you are making actions) and look towards the class (Y)
