Matt_Tupman
It'll hurt I can guarantee you that but it's bearableI've had two teeth extracted at one in the past and that was pretty nasty, i was quite swollen for a few days but like i said it's all just about bearable
Greetings
I had something like that done about 6 years ago. I got two injections after which my whole face was hanging The process of pulling out the tooth wasn't painfull at all, I dont remember feeling anything. It's just the thought that the dentist is using some awful plyers in your mouth and pulling very hard Dont worry!
mr ailsbury
didn't hurt me at all and I did'nt think it was too bad really and that was back in the day when I was shit scared of dentists they numb your mouth first so shouldn't hurt too much.... I've got to have a carbon fiber post put into my tooth tommorow then have it crowned

haydon_peter
Dont worry, I had to have a good few adult teeth removed when I was younger in preperation for having braces. I also had to have some baby teeth removed that for some reason just wouldnt fall out themselves.Usually you get an injection in your gum which isnt really that bad. You will probably also get an injection in the roof of your mouth, this one is a bit more uncomfortable but I am sure you will cope.Once these injections have cut in you wont be able to feel anything when the tooth is actually pulled. Your mouth will stay num for a good hour or two then you just have the wierd feeling of fresh sensitive gum just like when your baby teeth fell out... Si-man
Try having 3 sets of front teeth at the top Had Baby Teeth, adult teeth then 4 other teeth Had around 3 operations to get it all sorted, had no front teeth for 3 years , turned out a peice of bone stuff had grown over stopping my teeth cuming through. Had to have another operation to remove that. Baring in mind i was 6 at the time
Tony Harrison
It won't hurt, the anaesthetic will see to that. The injections are a little uncomfortable, but it's not particularly painful.
Sameer
It's a shame they don't use morphine anymore. That stuff was the shiznit when I had 4 teeth taken out. Shame they left it on for too long the second time round...
Walleee
I got 4 pulled before gettnig braces, roots were at least an inch long each, and had curled under the teeth beside, I thought the dentist was going to break my jaw pulling at them. Didn't hurt at all though, close your eyes when you get the injection if you don't like needle's, it is HUGE, but relatively painless provided you keep still.Edit: Matt's experiance is a one off, i had injections for filling on baby teeth too and again that was relatively painless, dentist told me to close my eyes while he sprayed my mouth with a freezing agent, once he actually did the injection i was like 'I didn't feel anyspray did you get enough in?' then I saw the needle...... BONGO
It'll hurt I can guarantee you that but it's bearableI've had two teeth extracted at one in the past and that was pretty nasty, i was quite swollen for a few days but like i said it's all just about bearablewill it f**k hurt!! ( you must have been very unlucky mate )Don't worry at all matey (Y)I have had 7 teeth taken out lol. I smashed my face to pieces and had a LOT of dental work done ( i lost 4 at the front and cracked some others. i also broke my pallete)i was shit scared to go the dentist for years but then i had no choice. After 1 visit i wasn't scared. All he will do is numb the f**k out of you, then pull hard with some pliery kinda things and it'll be done within 10 seconds i swear.you'll be absoluetly fine. he'll fill the gap with some tampon thing! for a few minutes then you'll be reet to go (Y)john
Mr Plod
Had to have four teeth out in preperation for braces a few years back. Two either side. They did the left side one week. Usual routine injection, let it go numb then yank away but it doesn't hurt. Only annoying part is the bleeding after. They give you cotton wool thingys but i find if you take them out and roll up a thick piece of kitchen roll and wedge it in the gap and bite down it works much much better. When I went back for the second lot the numbing didn't work, gave me 3 injections so just said go on. That hurt! Could hear the cracking as well but its over in a few seconds. So yeah use the kitchen roll technique as it works better than the cotton wool imo. You'll be fine though
tomturd
As has been said, doesnt really hurt at all.Had a back adult molar taken out, only bit which hurt was eating for about 2 months afterwards as there was a gaping hole in my gum where the roots of the tooth used to be. Just meant I had to eat on the other side of my mouth, hurts when you forget though.

tomturd
What do they do with the gap? am I just going to have to have a gap in my mouth, and eat to one side for ages????If its anything like mine, yes. If I remember correctly, a big blood clot formed in the hole and fell out ofter a couple of days (dentist told me this'd happen) and after that you'll be scared so feel around cos its a bit sick. After a couple of months it heals over and turns into the same kinda gum as on the roof of your mouth. Until then though expect some pain while eating cruncy things, especially corn flakes
ramps
I had two out recently because i have had brasses(sorry bout the spelling) put in. Having the teeth pulled out was relativly pain free but after the intections wore off i was in agony! I think you best stock up on painkillers myself. the holes have now healed a lovely pink colour to match the rest of my gums. Tomturd is right about the sharp foods bit, DONT EAT CRISPS FOR AT LEAST A WEEK! Mind numbing pain is garrenteed to follow
