I used to ride around that way. We organised a ride in Norwich a couple years ago and got about 25 people there, so it'd be a shame if they've all left trials. The EastCoast people out of Lowestoft seemed to know a few people from Norwich, and so did George Seamons (sp?) if they're still about on here.

And yup, Lowestoft is awesome :) Got incredibly sunburnt three/four summers back sessioning the car park near the amusements  If you wanna ride Lowestoft but live further away there's a cheap campsite up the coast. We pitched up there for a couple days and it was pretty good ;) Ask minitrialer if you want more info on that.

Enjoy!

the east coast trials crew are no more :( scotty, marge(i think) george, rob and a all the others ive forgotten names of have quit :( me and stu are the only people that ride now i think, altho i dont kow if stu really bothers now, havent seen him in a while

the ipswich riders have all pretty much gone too, i havent really bothered to go looking for new trials riders, cos quite frankly i cant imagine itll be the same as the olden days :( and poeple like scotty and george made the whole ride funny as chuff

however, if some1 does wanna organise a decent norwich ride, then count me in, as long as its not this weekend :P i know a fair few street riders who would love to come

I'm still on here, even though I don't have a bike.

I really wish I could still find the time/energy to ride, but after working 7-5, 5 days a week, exhausting yourself riding a bike is the last thing I want to be doing.

Thanks for that though Paul, made me sit there and reminiss for a few minutes about the way that 4 years ago, trials was my life. The way I'd look forward to every spare minute when I could ride my bike, and learn new things. But most of all, to meet new people. If it wasn't for trials, I would have a lot less friends.

And that I'm truely thankful for :)

I am from Cromer and I'm a long serving member of the Eastcoasttrias 'crew', which is unfortunately dead these days :( But I go to uni at Brighton so only come back to Norfolk in the holidays. Even then I dont get to ride very often as I'm either working or on GF duties.

There used to be such an awesome scene around Cromer, Norwich, Yarmouth and Lowestoft- so many riders, and large group rides going on every weekend. The majority of people have grown out of it these days, and those that are left dont have the time or energy to ride anymore. Marge (jimbo_limbo) still has his bikes but hasnt ridden it for a long time as far as I know. I miss the old days :(

Thanks for that though Paul

it really does frickin suck now though, i had a cool bond with you guys, and we got along, it wasnt just about riding, we had a funny time too 'yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees' 'i faaaaart on your face!'

and yeah, its weird how bikes have totally ruled our teenage years (still do for me now to an extent with the old repairs for people and stuff), i was totally stoked to of met you guys, i visited ect before i knew tf existed, downloaded all the vids and that was my inspiration-to me you lot were god like trials riders cos i had never seen anything like it (and the riding still is feckin amazing today), i'll never forget how big my smile was when i met you all on christmas eve, and you and rob had a chat to me and invited me to a ride, meant shitloads to me, then when my bike got stolen and you gave me the gt (even if it was stupidly big :P )and some parts to get me going again :) just dont think theres many more people left who would do that kinda thing round here anymore :(

miss you george :(

well lets organise a proper decent ride, when alot of people will be free, presumably easter time is a good idea cos of holidays and weather?

i know about 10 street/dirt riders, and a few new trials riders who ive sorted with bikes, so theres a start cos they would all come :) then we can go from there?
