Si-man
Just wondered if anybody knew what sort of paint I would have to use if to paint my helmet?? Is a TSG pissy potty and the laquer has come off where I took off some old stickers and I want to freshen it up. Was thinking of using airfix model spray, not sure if it will weaken the plastic though. Any help much appreciated Si

Sam Nichols
I'd use airfix stuff if I was you, like the shizzle you spray onto model car shells and things You need something like that because otherwise it will crack and flake, I believe spray for models has some amount of silicone or something in it to allow flex

Will tell you what happens when I finish it lol If it f**ks up then it f**ks up. Atleast then you all know not to copy lol

Krisboats
I went to wilko's and bought a grey primer can of spray paint and two black cans of paint and it all came to under a fiver. It's been on the helmet aorund a year now and i've banged it on things a couple of times and its still absolutely fine.
Simpson
I THINK that any type of paint weakens the helmet,i'm not sure though zoo x x xYea this may be true but in reality its actually the polystyrene packaging which is designed to compress on impact thus taking it out of your head. Like the engine protects your legs in a car accident, to 0.5mm plastic on the outside......... not going to save your skull in any aspect to be honest

Fishy
I got my helmet to look like the Red bull piss pot things using graffics, looks good at a distance, but like up close it has bit missing where i've fallen off.
