Impacted.
You have two options:- Helicoil it.- Tap to M6 (I think)I tapped mine because I didn't know about helicoiling, it's been fine for about 9 months now. But apparently helicoiling is supposed to be even stronger than originally (before bustin' your threads that is).
ogre
You need to get it tapped, do a search!
Sam Oliver
On some frames it is possible to put a longerbolt with a nut on the otherend, i have done this in the past but only you will know from looking at it.

Yeah I'ev done the same saved me a few quidI suggest you try the longer bolt first, If that doesn't workHelicoil it. Basically you tap to M6, then insert a steel insert which brings the sizing back down to M5, If that doesn't workYou'll have an M6 thread in your frame, buy an M6 bolt and use that
Lawnmowerman
Send the frame to my work and i'll helicoil it for you and send it back

tricalum
Get it helicoiled, much better than tapping becuase you would have to go to M6 and that would meen making your magura thing bigger. Helicole is stronger too, take it to a mechanic or get a kit.
Lawnmowerman
You need a 5.2mm drill bit and m5 x 0.8 coils for it to work properly. If you use a normal 5mm bit the coil will tighten up on the tool as you tighten it up and you'll ruin your tool
