Tomm
Oh so Bulgaria's no good then? I heard it was cheap, beer in Val Thorens (where I'm probably gonna go this year) is like £6/pint Nice jumps though, especially the last one

Which is f**king late and there will be no snow. So I wanna go to the highest place to maximise the snow. And Val T is the highest resort in Europe. And I will be getting the 3 Vallees pass anyway Having said that, the last time I went it dumped it down on the last day - almost a total white out, and the snow after that was awesome. But yeah, any snow is better than none

Tomm
plus what the hell is space munkee on about saying Val thorens is shit?! its one of the best resorts in europe! I dunno, I kind of agree with SpaceMunkee. I rate Morzine/Avoriaz and Les Deux Alpes (the other places I've been to) quite a lot higher, but I'm going back to VT hopefully so I'll see how I get on. Having said that when I went to VT, the park had hardly anything in it, and there isn't much off-piste stuff to be had. But I don't doubt that they've improved the park over the last couple of years - now everyone in Europe is taking up snowboarding. So it should be better this year And to anyone taking the piss with acemazing sarcy comments, why? That's some pretty good boarding, and it's better than 95% of the people on the forum could do. And I like watching boarding so I'm glad he posted it.

Dr. Nick Riviera
nope and nope , i've skateboarded for years though , i hear its an advantage
Tomm
No idea about that. I would say that anything that requires a bit of balancing (E.g. trials) is probably useful, but not that useful. You'll still need some lessons, controlling a snowboard is nothing like controlling a skateboard, really. But you should pick it up fairly quickly
Luke Drewery
Cool little vid, looks like fun. I have never tried it myself, but I would like to someday.
