GlynnP Posted January 29, 2006 Report Share Posted January 29, 2006 ok i have just bought a FSA Platium isis bottom bracket and today on my second ride with it its started to make a "clonking" noise not like a creaking noise. its every time i do a hard pedal stroke it clonks: i have had this problem before but some times it just goes away can any 1 help me out.Thanks Glynn Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If this fails take it out clean it up, put plumbers tape on the threads and apply a lot of grease them whack it back in and give it realy good tightening again. cheese_cake Posted January 29, 2006 Report Share Posted January 29, 2006 iv had this problem with about three new bikes back then i wernt to sure wat i was talking about so i went to halfords and on the spot they told me i had bust it. i left it carried on riding and about a week later it stoped so i think it just needs to set its self if you get what i mean. hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
