(Y) I'm trying to get my 18t cog and bash off becuase i'm getting new cranks but how the hell do I do it?

Theres nowhere to put a tool and on TB.co.uk it says thwere too tight to use a chainwhip on?

I would prefere to keep the cog so I don't want to gring it square or anything but is that the only way?

cheers (Y)

Chuck he cog and crank arm in a wooden edged vice...Reaaaaaly tight....Get a decent length extension bar...and twist..anti clockwise (Y)

Think its anti clockwise anyway..preeety sure

Tom

what so i put the bar over the cranks?

Would it work if i just put two bits of wood on the inside of a normal vice?
