bikerboysam1
Well, do you want a hydraulic disk or cable?
Jonny Shoe
There are a few different choices but a lot of it is down to prefernce between 1) price 2) hydraulic and mechanical just to name a couple. The ones most used and best in my opinion are:Hope Mono MiniHope Mono TrialHope M4 (little powerful in my opinion)Avid Juicy 5Avid BB7Avid BB5 (same as BB7 with less adjustability)Will add more if any come to mind. Hope this helps

philking
HI IF I WAS YOU, I WOULD GET AN Avid Juicy 5 OR 7 THEY ARE MEANT, TO BE GOOD THANKS ROBERTYOU CAN ALSO TYPE IN lower case if you prefer, and you will be doing yourself a favour. As for the disc, Hope mono trial is the best (not everyone will agree, but a lot will). Don't get the Hope try-all though unless you have koxx forks. It is exactly the same disc, just designed to go with the differently spaced mounts on the koxx forks. Mono trial (Click me!) with a 160 rotor is ideal for a mod, or if you really are after some scary power go for the 180 rotor.
Matt_Tupman
Hope Mone Trial or Magura Louise wouldn't bother with anything else as they are either over hyped or snappy happy Both brakes are under your budget and don't bother getting anything bigger than 160mm rotor you don't need it.
